It’s the most complicated because you become more than just a designer, but also an entrepreneur. If you sell for someone else, then you can charge a commission, all, once again, based on popularity.
Variety certainly is the spice of life, and designers will always have that. It’s an easy profession to get into and not hard to get good at.
