Family IQ Review - Appears Like A MLM, Pays Just Like A Top Tier, What exactly is It?

Tuesday, December 6th, 2011

After being in the industry for more than 23 years, I’ve worked with many versions of the “Standard MLM” business model and I have also observed and studied each new pay strategy alternative as it swept through the industry.

Let’s see, Unilevel, Compression Programs, Rollups, Binary, Hybrid Binary, Coded Bonus, Matrix and numerous variations of those, it makes my head spin just trying to keep up with them all.

“So which is the best” is probably the question asked by MLM hopefuls looking to achieve success in Network Marketing, and form a new Plan A in today turbulent financial market.

In the final analysis of course they’re all successful companies regardless of what comp strategy they use and have top earners whose checks would make you envious.

A common issue is obviously “when do you need to be paid?”

That of course is the big dividing line drawn right down the center of the industry.

On one side are all the “Standard MLM” pay plans, regardless of what variation of pay strategy they may use, and on the other are the “Top Tier MLM” companies.

The fundamental key distinction between these models will be the cost of the distributor kit a brand new rep buys when they enrol and how much the company pays out on this initial product bundle.

Top Tier MLM companies usually have a much higher level of compensation on the front end allowing a new rep to earn a full time income from day 1 and Standard MLM comp plans usually put most of the profit on the backend residual which can take several months or years to fully develop.

Now I believed I had everything figured out, but then a totally new alternative hits the marketplace.

Enter Family IQ, a new “Top Tier MLM” with a fairly low end startup package and an aggressive residual MLM compensation plan on the backend.

Really…?

Family IQ is the brilliant idea of Mark Hobbins who established the business in 2001.

Now Family IQ is fairly new to the MLM world since they just launched their MLM business model in about October of 2010 but the company has been around for about 10 years prior to that with an online business model.

Then last year, Family IQ decided to go with a direct to consumer business model and chose a Top Tier MLM compensation plan.

The Family IQ products are general online coaching and instructional programs designed to improve interpersonal relationships between close relatives, husband and wife, parents and children, and so on.

I have to say that when I first checked out the Family Members IQ item line I was not certain about its success as a Network Marketing product but following some marketing analysis, I have been pretty amazed at how powerful the appeal this type of item seems to have.

So let’s take a look at the Family Members IQ payment plan.

The Family Members IQ sign up package is $1495.00 which is similar to what an associate might pay to participate in a “Standard MLM” if they purchased the top end product line once they signed up.

This is when the top tier component of the compensation strategy begins because whenever you enrol a brand new member into Family IQ you receive an impressive 70% commission, generating a clean $1000 per new rep you enlist in the business.

The initial commission on the sign up bundles are actually paid out daily. According to the sign up process the new person entering the company initially enrols in the Family Members IQ website and pays the company $495 to register; however they do not have active status until they complete the payment for the balance of the enrolment fee of $1000 right to their upline.

That’s correct, they pay you $1000 immediately…..Nice touch!

Now the Family IQ strategy has a 9 level “Unilevel” compensation plan that permits associates to take advantage of the ongoing growth of their organizations.

Now part of the appeal of this deal is the powerful presentation done by the master distributor Rod Stinson in which he outlines the advantages of the Top Tier MLM model and then shows numerous examples of his receiving multiple Fedex envelopes every day, each containing a $1000 check.

New representatives, once they register, also receive a recorded company presentation and a replicated website to start getting the news out.

Precisely what does the future hold for this Hybrid - Top Tier Multilevel marketing company?

Well all indications show that Family Members IQ could be the first among the initial Top Tier MLM’s to actually go viral.

So should you drop everything you are doing and jump on the Family IQ bandwagon?

Well that will depend on your monetary goals and how quickly you want to accomplish them. Now the big selling point of the Top Tier company model is the GPT (Get Paid Today) idea that offers you the capability of getting paid in 30 to 60 days versus twelve months or more in a Standard MLM.

Now normally in a Top Tier the back end residual is much less than you would make in Standard Multi level marketing but with Family IQ they appear to have an attractive Hybrid company model that really pays for both.

I expect we will probably be learning a lot concerning this quick moving new company in the near future.
