However, you can be your own boss. Get an opportunity in the field of network marketing. Have you not learnt about this source of income on Internet? If you have some skills in sales and marketing you will be successful in network marketing because the basics are same. This is so simple and there is no fear of losses, you have to learn some essentials of this type of job while doing it practically.

You may think network marketing is simple but there are precautions you should take. If you aren’t careful, you can make some of the common network marketing mistakes that will cause your business to fail and lead to you having to beg for your old job back.

Starting something new can be very exciting. However, in their excitement, some people may not be aware of exactly what they are agreeing to when signing up with an affiliate program. All affiliate programs require you to sign an agreement. This agreement should clearly state the terms and conditions for you and the merchant.

Full meaning and explanations of these terms and conditions should be clear in your mind before signing the contract. For example term Revenue be truly understood.” While entering into contract you make an agreement of 10% commission on revenue. What does revenue mean here? Is it gross revenue or net revenue? Because there is a lot of difference between two terms, the former give you more profit and later have less value.

The actual amount earned from sale is called the gross amount of sales, which is calculated before the deduction of all types of expenses and taxes. Majority of merchants pay commission based on the gross amount of sales. This is fantastic but you should check whether is it actually paid like this agreement or some surcharge payments like credit or debit card, gift wrapping, mobile card charges, any tax or any other surcharges which were not to be deducted from your commission are not included in gross amount (means not deducted).

There are some network marketing programs that have a very strict definition of revenue. You may get paid a commission based on the profit the merchant makes from the sale. That means if a book you promote sells for $20 but the profit for the merchant is $10, you get paid a percentage of the smaller amount. That will reduce your commission dramatically.

You want to watch out for how a merchant handles returns when you get paid on commission. A lot of affiliate programs pay commissions only when a product is paid for and when the customer chooses to keep it. If the item were to be returned, you could lose your commission. You could also end up making up the difference if there is not enough commission in your account to cover the difference. If this is what you are signing up for, make sure you are clear on how it works.
